Book: I Am Scared! (2021)
The book was created and completed during the uncertain times of the pandemic. While working on the artwork for this project, I envisioned it as a source of comfort and hope amid the challenging times.
I conceptualized and created the main character, a “Binturong” (bearcat) for this book. The Palawan Binturong is endemic to the island of Palawan, Philippines.
The book was first printed and published in 2021, with an online release shortly after. It was reissued at the first Philippine Book Festival in 2023.
